What to Expect Sunday Mornings
Sunday Morning Services— Our services usually last an hour. We describe our two worship styles at Aldersgate as “blended” and “contemporary.” In the first service (8:30 am) we sing both traditional hymns and praise choruses. At the second service (10:30 am) we have a contemporary service where a praise band leads worship.
The 8:30 am service is broadcast on WFRX AM 1300.
Arriving—Our parking entry is to the North of the building and wraps all the way around. All doors are open, but the easiest way to find your way into the building is to enter through the double doors on the North side of the building right in front of the steeple. The greeters just inside the doors will point you in the right direction and answer any questions you might have.
Come As You Are— At Aldersgate you will see blue jeans, suits and dresses. So either dress casual and comfortable or come in your "Sunday" best.
Bring the Kids—We provide a nursery for children under the age of four. During the time of offering in the 8:30 am service children 3 1/2 through third grade will be dismissed to children’s church. There are age appropriate Sunday School classes for all children at 9:30 am. Children third grade and under who are in Sunday School will be taken directly to children’s church for the 10:30 am service. Any children in that age group who arrive at 10:30 am for the service may go directly to the Kid Zone in the Abundant Life Center (ALC/Gym).
Fellowship—Coffee is provided in the Abundant Life Center (ALC/gym) from 9 am to 11 am.
